will introduce YouTube, Facebook and Twitter viewersx to Paul Daniel onApril 30, a Pewaukee residenf who has agreed to shar his experience with prostate cancer. Shortly after his diagnosis in Daniel, 55, began videotaping his hospital and physician visitss and posting them on the threde socialmedia outlets. On April 30, he will underg o a robotic prostatectomy at to removehis prostate. Danie will videotape his entire experience leadintg up to the surgery and willpost it, alongy with video of his surgery, on YouTube, Facebook and Sandra Peterson, spokesperson for ProHealth said all of the videos being posted by Daniell are completely driven by him.
"ProHealt Care is not viewing what he is postingand doesn'gt have any editorial say over what the patienty is doing," Peterson said. "That's what is so greatt about this. It's completely his honesyt and uninfluenced experience from diagnosis through In awritten statement, Daniel said he wants to use his experience to educate othedr men about the disease. “If I can save one life by convinciny someone about the importancde ofbeing tested, or allat the fears of even one man about surgerhy and treatment, it will be worth it,” Danielk said. Daniel is the firs patient in southeastern Wisconsin to shars his entire patient experience viasociapl media.
Waukesha Memorial urologist Dr. Brian Butler will perfork the surgery.
