A Franklin County gransd jury indicted a group of mortgage loan officers, real estat agents, appraisers and a title agent on a combined 83 countz of fraud, money laundering and receiving stolen The group is accused of concocting a schemse to buy and sell houses at inflater prices and then falsify loan documents in order to skim thousandsw of dollars from each sale of 30 propertiesx in the region. Most of the properties had gone into foreclosurw and are in urban neighborhoods that have been buffeteds by thehousing slowdown. Five of the 13 were arrested Wednesday, said a spokeswomanh for the Attorney General’s Office. They are scheduler for arraignment Thursday.

The Ohio Organizec Crime Investigations Commission and the Centra Ohio Mortgage Fraud Task Force investigated thealleged fraud.
