The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed at down 52.81 points or 0.62 percent. at 1,727.84, was off 6.70 points or 0.39 Results were mixed for a cross-sectiomn of Pittsburgh companies. U.S. Steel saw the biggest percentage gain. U.S. Steel (NYSE:X), finishedd trading at $31.25 per share, up 4.38 WESCO International Inc. (NYSE:WCC), saw the deepes percentage drop, down 4.90 percent to $25.40. Alcoaw Inc. (NYSE:AA), down 2.07 percenr to $9.48 Allegheny Energy Inc. (NYSE:AYE), down 0.29 perceng to $24.43 Allegheny Technologies Inc. up 3.05 percent to $36.80 American Eagle Outfitters Inc. (NYSE:AEO), down 1.69 percent to $13.96 Bank of New York Mellonm Corp. (NYSE:BK), down 3.
